Nova Gas Supports Aitenga Through CSR Partnership
In a significant step toward sustainable community development, Nova Gas has partnered with Aitenga Women Empowerment Organisation through a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative that promotes clean energy, women’s empowerment, and social impact.
As part of this partnership, Nova Gas generously donated high-quality cylinders, accessories, and a full year’s supply of gas refills to Aitenga’s field office in Mugongo. This donation not only reduces our operational costs but also allows us to shift from traditional charcoal cooking to clean, efficient LPG, a change that improves kitchen hygiene, reduces health risks, and lowers our carbon footprint. For Aitenga, this means more resources can be redirected to what matters most—empowering women and youth through skills training, mentorship, and livelihood support.
Nova Gas, a brand of Guardian Energy Limited, has been at the forefront of Uganda’s transition to clean energy. By providing safe and reliable Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), they have helped households, schools, and organizations move away from polluting fuels like charcoal and firewood. Their efforts directly support global sustainability goals while making everyday life healthier and more affordable.

We are honored to collaborate with Nova Gas, whose commitment to CSR goes beyond philanthropy; it’s about creating lasting change, said a representative from Aitenga. This donation not only supports our daily operations but also reinforces our shared vision for a greener, more equitable future. Nova Gas’s involvement highlights how businesses can play a pivotal role in social development. By integrating CSR into its core values, Nova Gas sets an example for corporate leadership in social and environmental stewardship. Together with Aitenga, they are paving the way for a brighter, more sustainable future.
