“Ignite Her Dream” Vision Forum & Fundraising Gathering

On 14th November, 2025, We proudly hosted the Ignite Her Dream, Vision Forum & Fundraising Gathering at the Makerere University School of Food Technology, Nutrition & Bio-Engineering Conference Hall. The event brought together partners, leaders, and friends committed to advancing women’s empowerment and strengthening community transformation.
Honoring Our Partners
Aitenga extends its deepest appreciation to our main event sponsor, CHiQ, whose commitment went far beyond event support. CHiQ pledged to donate UGX 1,000 from every CHiQ product sold throughout the next year, a powerful demonstration of their belief in Corporate Social Responsibility and the transformative impact of investing in women and girls. Our sincere gratitude also goes to Yushili Hotel & Restaurant for partnering with us and contributing to the success of this memorable gathering.

We were also honored by the presence of several esteemed guests whose leadership and influence strengthened the purpose of our convening including;

Guest of Honor: Natasha Butorac, Programme Specialist on Women, Peace and Security, UN Women Uganda, representing the Deputy Country Representative and Head of Programmes at UN Women Uganda

Benard Mujuni, Esq., Commissioner for Equity and Rights, Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development

Prof. David Katamba, PhD, Chairman, Uganda Chapter for Corporate Social Responsibility Initiatives Ltd (UCCSRI)

Asim Waseem Ahmed, CEO, Ximing Group Uganda

Sunil Lakhani, General Manager, CHiQ Uganda

Their presence illuminated the event with insight, encouragement, and reaffirmation of the vital role partnerships play in driving lasting change.

  • Beneficiary testimonies that highlighted the real-life impact of Aitenga’s programs
  • Aitenga’s 2026 Strategic Plan, accompanied by a strong Call to Action
  • A powerful message on the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in achieving sustainable development
