Empowering Futures through Education pathway and Career guidance Workshop

On 7th August 2024, Aitenga successfully conducted an impactful Education Pathway and Career Guidance Workshop aimed at equipping young people with the knowledge and tools necessary to make informed decisions about their future education and careers, held at Top times high school Kyengera. The workshop series is committed to shaping the next generation of professionals.

Workshop Highlights:

• Education pathway insights: Students were sensitised about a range of different routes that learners can choose out of Uganda’s education system i.e. the vocational and non vocational pathway so they can have more understanding of the relationships between academics, career and education planning to achieve career goals
• Career Exploration Sessions: students were introduced to various career options across multiple industries, helping students understand the professions and qualifications needed for different career paths.
• Interactive Q&A Panels: Students engaged with Aitenga team during interactive sessions, where they could ask questions and gain real-world perspectives on particular career fields and education platforms.
