AITENGA WE EMPOWER!
STARTING POINTS ENTREPRENEUR WORKSHOPS
The Starting Point Entrepreneur Workshop Project is a transformative initiative aimed at addressing the challenges faced by small-scale entrepreneurs in Uganda. With high business failure rates prevalent among these individuals in Uganda, our workshop is designed to provide essential knowledge and skills to empower entrepreneurs, foster confidence, and increase success rates.
What is the Issue?
Uganda is one of the most entrepreneurial countries in the world, with 30% of Ugandans starting businesses annually. Despite being ranked, few Ugandan businesses barely make it through the first year, and 50% of these businesses fail within 3 years. Majority of Ugandans are engaged in income activities that are low-skill, low-earning and low-productivity.
What is Aitenga Doing?
We provide disadvantaged community members with enterprise skills for immediate use through training people to make products such as soap, shampoo, among others. Furthermore we provide business management training to the trainees in order for them to create sustainable enterprises.
