World Cleanup Day-Tweyonje!

Aitenga in partnership  with Rotary club Kyengera, St. Henry’s school Kyengera and Gesamtschule Windeck  joined hands with the global community for World Clean Up Day! on 20th September,2024  by organising a community cleanup. The event featured   picking up rubbish, separating plastics, polythene and other non decomposable materials, clearing the trenches, slashing surrounding bushes and collecting residents trash  along Kyengera- Mugongo road, Wakiso District . This event not only spread awareness about  the importance of keeping our environment clean but also encouraged community members to take initiative when it comes to recycling and waste management. We stood united in our commitment to restoring and protecting our planet. It  reminded us that collective action can create real change—every piece of litter picked up makes a difference. Let’s continue to inspire and empower others to take part in building a sustainable world!
