Carry With Love Fundraiser Project Launch

We are thrilled to announce the successful launch of our latest initiative, the ‘Carry With Love’ project, aimed at supporting preterm babies and their families in Uganda. This project is a heartfelt effort to provide kangaroo carriers, which are essential for promoting the life-saving practice of kangaroo care, especially for preterm and low-birth-weight infants.
Our goal is to distribute 60 carriers every month for a year across in different institutions catering for premature babies, reaching as many families in need as possible. Each donation of just UGX 20,000 enables us to provide one kangaroo carrier, directly impacting the life of a preterm baby. Your support can make a lasting difference, ensuring that these infants receive the care and warmth they desperately need. The carriers will be crafted by women who were once beneficiaries of Aitenga’s incubation program under the tailoring initiative 2017, a unique opportunity for the Aitenga women, who are now professional tailors, to earn a living by making these carriers.
